The Fryxell Geology Museum is home to one of the finest collections of rocks, minerals and fossils in the Midwest. Over 1,500 specimens are kept at the museum that have been collected since the 1880s. Dinosaur fossils are popular attractions at this museum. This museum is part of the geology department of Augustana College.

Since the Quad Cities area has the second largest Belgian population in the United States, it is fitting that a Belgian Museum be located here. The museum features artifacts and memorabilia that commemorate the Belgian heritage of those who settled the Quad Cities area. The museum is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm.

Henry County Museum Bishop Hill
Henry County Museum features historical artifacts that depict the history of the area. Abraham Lincoln's Long Nine Museum Historic Site is located in the same building that Abraham Lincoln visited on many occasions while traveling between New Salem and Springfield. The building now houses an audio narrated diorama tour that orates the history of Abraham Lincoln and the Long Nine Illinois legislators.

The John Deere Pavilion is known as the world's most comprehensive agricultural exhibit and is regularly visited by people from all over the world.
